Will they cut several layers of fabric?
Yes. They cut four layers of quilting cotton in one pass, as well as fleece, canvas, denim, upholstery cloth and cardboard for your craft projects.
Are the sound and vibration comfortable to work with?
Yes. They're quiet enough to use while someone watches TV, with a light hum rather than a harsh buzz in your hand.
Will a charge last through a cutting session?
Yes. A full charge gives about 90 minutes of steady cutting. Recharge with the supplied USB cable between sessions.
Are they worth having when I already own scissors?
Yes. Use these for the long cuts that take the most work, and keep your existing detail snips for tiny notches.
Can I return them after trying them on my fabric?
Yes. Try them on your own fabric and return them used within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We pay the return shipping and email you a prepaid label. Send them back with the original packaging and accessories.
Will the blades and motor hold up to regular use?
Yes. After six months of cutting three times a week, all 24 test pairs still cut cotton cleanly on their original blades, with every motor working normally.
Customizing Pen
Can a beginner get a neat result?
Yes. Start with a simple outline on spare wood, rest your wrist and use light pressure. A small leaf or a few letters gives you a manageable first project before you work on a gift.
What can I engrave with it?
You can engrave names and simple outlines on wood and soft metals such as aluminum and copper. It suits gift tags, coasters, labels and small pendants.
Can I finish a project on one charge?
Yes, a full charge gives you 45 minutes of engraving on wood at medium speed. All 12 pens reached 45 minutes in our internal runtime test.
Why use this instead of my big rotary tool?
Keep talking while you work at the table. Our internal wood-engraving test averaged 58 dB at one metre, against 76 dB for a bulky rotary tool.
Can I engrave my own handwriting?
Yes. Your own letters become the finished engraving, so you can put a familiar signature or handwritten message on the gift instead of choosing a stock font.
